Refund & Cancellation Policy for Live Courses

At Data Buffet, we value transparency and fairness. This policy outlines your rights and our terms regarding refunds, cancellations, and access to our live online courses.
1. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
We understand that plans can change. Refund eligibility is based on the timing of your cancellation:
- Full Refund: You are eligible for a 100% refund if you cancel at least 5 days before the course start date.
- Partial Refund or Rescheduling: We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the course start time. However, we may consider rescheduling your enrollment on a case-by-case basis.
- No Refunds will be issued if:
- You cancel within 48 hours of the course start time.
- You fail to attend the live sessions (no-show).
- You experience technical difficulties on your end (e.g., unstable internet, device issues).
Note: These refund terms apply independently of your rights under EU consumer law. If you're located in the EU, see Section 2 for information about your 14-day right of withdrawal.
2. EU Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of payment, provided the service has not started.
By enrolling in a live course, you expressly agree that the course may begin during this 14-day withdrawal period. You also acknowledge that once the course has started or been accessed, you waive your right to withdraw.
If you have not attended or accessed any sessions, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days by emailing us at hello@databuffet.io.
3. Course Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to choose between:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer of your enrollment to a future course session.
4. Technical & Access Issues
To ensure the best learning experience:
- You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and functional device.
- We are not liable for access issues on your side (e.g., poor internet, software/device limitations).
- If a platform-wide technical failure prevents the course from taking place, we will either reschedule or issue a full refund.
5. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via your original payment method.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by your payment provider or bank.
6. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
To cancel your enrollment or request a refund, please email hello@databuffet.io with the following:
- Your full name
- Course name
- Payment date
- Reason for cancellation (optional)
7. Agreement
By enrolling in our courses, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
